I often ponder the greatness and value our organization adds to the communities it frequents...Also our role as "villains".
This of course... is what I call villain study. reviewing all the greatest villains of all time, and amalgamating the best attributes etc into The Khans. I then combine this with the things I study and learn from in life, the hope being to bolster our organization, image, and group.
There is a common philosophy to which I subscribe, that the best villains are those who believe they are the hero. Hence The Khans strong belief that we are the cure for the wasteland and humanity. This belief gives us strength and purpose, and validates the road we travel down to our destiny!
Through work I've been cajoled into reading "Good to Great" by James C Collins - its a damn good book!
And this is where an amazing new concept hit me, and stood out profoundly for me. "Good is the enemy of Great". is a common quote Collins uses; and quite frankly it's true if you think about us.
Why be "good" or "bad" when what we are is essentially "Great"?
Expect more on Khan philosophy soon.
